I took my car to an autoshop down the street from my house. I assumed it would be convenient being that I could drop my car off and then walk home. Mistake number one. Keep in mind I am female and went into the place by myself.

So I drop my car off and requested a tune up and oil change. Now normally a tune up consistes of changing the spark plugs. I assume that the mechanic at this place doesnt know that. 3 hours later I get a call saying my car is done. Not being very car savy and assuming that I wouldn't get ripped off, I paid my 370 dollars and thought nothing of it.

Next day I make a 4 hour road trip. My AC leaks water all over the passenger side of the car. How did that happen??? Well upon further investigation a rock was conveniently placed in one of the AC ducts causing the water to literally flow. Next thing to my surprise when I popped the hood was duct tape holding my spark plugs in place. I was very angry to say the least. Obviously these guys did absolutely nothing to my car, it sat there for 3 hours and I paid out the a$$ for nothing.

Another mistake I made was not keeping track of what was done, I SHOULD have popped the hood before I left that roach motel for an auto shop and verified that the work was done. I'm never going there again.
