Transone.com Transciti.com, transmissionciti.com, best transmission Deceptive transmission repair practices, Internet
On April 7th I started my search to find a shop to service my 200 chevy suburban's tranny. I called around and the prices were on the high side around 25-3500 bucks. I called Jesse at Tranone.com who I gave him my info about my truck and he waited a few minutes called me back and gave me a quote of 1397+ hard parts. I questioned why was the ad so low on the net and my price is 1.5 times higher, he explained " we buy unused shop time, to give you a greater discount of 50 to 60 %".
I bought that lie and allowed them to talk me into towing my truck after I stated I could drive it to your shop to save money. They said towing was free, 150 towards a rental and a 200 dollar discount was added to my great deal. They towed my truck on 4-8-10 and was told the turnaround would be 24 hr. Well after a few days I called to find out I needed to put a deposit of 890 to get the work started. Ok after the deposit was made I waited over a week to hear about my truck.
Once I called curiously about the delay,(4-19) I was called back, with my tranny was badly damaged and they were in need of more money to get another transmission for my vehicle. I was not ready for the shocker there after. Jesse called back stating it's going to cost me 2542 and they were putting in refurbished/remanufactured unit, but still giving me a parts list for a rebuilt that I must pay for as well. They even changed the warranty information after my complaining started.
I requested them to halt any further work until I am showed these badly damaged parts. I got to the shop on 4-26 only to find my transmission wasn't even taken apart, it was sitting on the bench. I asked for Sal, he was away til 2 days later, I informed them not to do any work until I get some answers from the company about them falsely raising my price and charging me for a rebuild but putting in a used transmission. Sal came back and took my tranny apart anyways.
I was informed to complain to my bank of the fraudulent practices and a month later I lost tranone made docs to show they completed my job on one hand, but the other stating I took my truck, their transmission and left the shop unpaid as I agreed to.
How could I have taken my truck, with all parts if the owned Sal refused to give it to me as of 5-26 without paying him 350 for his towing and labor. They still have my truck after 2 months

I just experienced the same ordeal with this company. On 8/27/2010 I called them for my 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Supercharger and I was 100% ripped off. Joyce told me that the repairs would cost $997.00 to repair the trans considering I dont need any hardparts. The shop they used was named Aamaco (67th Western. Chicago) and they were in on the scam. I got a email stating that it cost $2900.00 to repair the trans 4 days later. I called them and told them to NOT repair the trans and that I wanted my car back. All in all they want me to pay the shop $830.00 PLUS $35 per day for storage for the diagonastic and labor performed on my trans. Keep in mind I sent them $899.92 already!
