i am a certified tecnician of over 27yrs. experience, and purchased a transmission from transplant only to try and save myself some time. what a mistake! after installing it does not go into park physicaly nor does it even move when placed in any gear. i called to try and get a resolution to the problem and was given the run around. they want me to take it out and return it for repair on my own time, which cost me alot of money as i have take another day off work to remove it and another to re install it once repaired. they are not willing to compensate me for lost time and now claim i knocked off the shift valve during install. impossible due to this is an internal componant. remember i am a certified technician who is certified in transmissions. i was just trying to save myself time because i am very busy. i asked if they could tow the car to their shop to repair their mistake and was told no, they are to busy so i must remove it myself and bring it to them. i guess my time is not as important as theirs. dont use these guys! my shop will never again.

Follow up on owner response. I have been to your shop recently. I see no improvement as the experience I had was just as bad. This was a month ago. Rob and Dennis both lie . My transmission had the same problem as when it went in. They are not good at honoring the so called warranty. They have had a lawsuit from the Attorney General of Arizona just this past year.  Beware they take your money first then they don't have the trans needed so they say they will rebuild your. They mislead you to belive they do a exchange program.   They run ads on craigslist. I can't understand Craigslist letting them do this with the lousy service.

Dear Customer.

I apologize for the experience you had at Trans-Plant Transmission. It has been a few months since your experience with our shop and I just found this report.  Unfortunately, sometimes even with new parts there can be an issue or malfunction.  We do our best to ensure a great product but sometimes, as in every industry, a lemon can get though.  Our shop policy does require you to remove the part and return it, at which time we would have been happy to exchange it for you.  However, we cannot be responsible to tow the car across town into our shop and do the repair for you.  We may not have fixed the situation to your satisfaction and we are sorry you were unhappy but what you were asking for was above and beyond the call of normal business practices.

There have recently been major changes around the shop in a effort to bring back good customer satisfaction.  We have decided that out of state deliveries were causing to many issues that we could not personally witness.  Recently we have began localizing our service to the state of Arizona.  We hope this will allow for a better experience with Trans-Plant Transmission!  We hope you will give us another shot, as we aim to improve customer relations with all existing customers and develop many new customers with our new methods and higher self expectations.  Please stop by the next time you need a remanufactured transmission and we will be happy to help you get your car or truck back on the road!  We are now open Mon- Friday from 8am-5pm only.
