Transport National Llc. fired without warning, denied unemployment, prevented me from working anywhere Oak Creek Wisconsin
I had a small trucking incident where I lost a piece of a load on the ground at a stand still,no damage was done, first offense, and was fired without a reason and with no warning, then denied unemployment benefits because they say I violated company policy. then they reported me to USIS(DAC) as NOT rehirable and that this was preventable. now I can't be hired by anyone in the trucking industry which is my livelihood, not to mention I had been trained by them, and worked for them for only 87 days. before them I had a perfect safety record for 12 years, been driving for 13years,and now I am denied everything?? Its not fair, and I am doing everything I can to fix this but it may be a losing battle if this company will not cooperate.I just want my life back.

Duane, just DISPUTE the Dac/USIS report, and add your statement!

Duane,
This is easy!! The DAC report is governed just like a credit report, under the FCRA.
You have the right to dispute any entry and also to add your 100 word or less statement.
Do this right away! And SUE anyone who violates your rights.
Be sure to send the dispute and statement by certified mail, return reciept requested. Also be sure to put the certified# on the letter itself and keep a copy for your records. This procedure is very important.
Also file complaints against this carrier with the FMCSA.
I'm sure you observed some violations, right?
And, you can appeal that unemployment determination.
Stay on top of them, and you will win in the end!
Good luck!!
