I checked my credit reports about 60 days ago. I saw a lot of negative items on them. 8 to be specific. It really varied depending on the report that I saw. It was clearly unauthorized charges on my account.

Anyways, I disputed online with all three major reporting agencies; Experian, Equifax, and Transunion. When I checked my credit report a few days ago again with all 3 agencies, the Experian and the Equifax reports had ALOT of deleted items that the creditor could not respond within a reasonable amount of time (30 days) and they removed them.

My TransUnion; however, still showed items being disputed. That was over 60 days ago!!! What is going on? These people are ruining my credit. I called them on the phone, of course someone 5000 miles away in India answered the phone. They barely could speak Engliish. When I asked of the location, they said "We are located outside the United States," but I know the accent of Mallayallam in India.

I asked to speak with a supervisor when talking to the worker bee was going absolutely nowhere. At this point, I would have had more fun WATCHING PAINT DRY. The supervisor told me that the creditor had not responded to them, but they haven't not responded either...What the he|| does that mean? She told me that unless the creditor says that the debt is not mine, they can not remove it.

THAT IS BS! What creditor, if they are owed ANY amount of money is going to say, "You know what, we made a mistake, the 3,200 dollar debt isn't his. We will take the loss on this one, please remove it from his/her credit report." That is just NOT going to happen!

I feel that over 60 days was within the REASONABLE amount of time to get it off of my credit report. Turns out Transunion doesn't think so. Is there anything I can do to get this off? No wonder credit is getting whacked for everyone. There is some NON-AMERICAN citizen laughing his or her *ss off somewhere to add things and not remove bad items that do NOT belong to you! I disputed it again, I will give it 45 days and then check again.

-On another note, I think we need to petition the citizens of America about these cell phone companies and anyone else who doesn't report on your credit UNLESS you DON'T pay. I think, eventhough it doesn't say it in the FCRA, that it's not exactly reporting fairly when you only report to the credit bureaus when someone DOESN'T pay. That is so bogus and something needs to be done about it.

Also, I have recently paid a judgement of a debt I DID NOT HAVE to get it off of my credit report. These people scammed me, and they scammed me good! They sent notices to OLD addresses on file to let me know they were suing me in Civil Court. Well I HAD NO IDEA that I was even being sued or had been sued until I went to purchase a new car. They told me!

Turns out, all they have to do is show simple EFFORT that they have been trying to contact you to legally sneak in a courtroom and get a default judgement; this particular company even went as far as telling the judge that I was AVOIDING them!!! I HAD SPENT 3 OF THE PAST 4 YEARS IN IRAQ FOR THE ARMY! I do not exactly call that avoiding!

Nonettheless, to get it off my credit, I paid it off for $10,630 and have a satisfaction of judgement letter. The thing is, now I am back overseas, HOW DO I GET THIS TO SHOW AS PAID??? Since I cannot get to the courthouse, obviously since I am overseas in a combat zone, I cannot get them the ORIGINAL SOJ letter they must have to file it so they are reporting it as UNPAID still...Is there any way to take care of this?
