TransWorld Entertainment $30 XB Value Bundle Rebate Scam! ripoff Miami Florida
I went to buy an Xbox through FYE and they said I couldn't unless I purchased the Xbox Console with an Xbox Game and an Xbox Controller to receive a $30 Rebate. I did and saved my receipts and UPCs. I had made copies of everything incase of any problem and sent it out right away (End of December 2004).
I received an email 1/6/05 stating that they didn't receive my UPCs and cannot give me the rebate. I contacted them and and they said that I could fax or email a scanned copy of everything. I ended up faxing them on 1/31/05.
I then contacted them and nothing. I then emailed them again and they said they didn't receive anything. So I emailed them a scanned copy of my copy of everything.
I emailed them o 3/2/05 for status and received no information. I checked the tracking online and says they didn't receive my UPCs. Not only did I have to buy extra stuff because I had too. I can't even get my rebate. What a SCAM!
