I received a fax at my job from Omaha Travel offering a 3 day 2 night trip to Las Vegas for $149/ person. When we called the number on the page we spoke with a Carolyn who said she had availablity for all 4 couples to book it. We asked her a lot of questions about the trip before booking. We were told it was $149/person at that time, then an additional $68/person to the Travel Center. She told us we would also pay taxes on the room at the time of travel. She also said we could travel any day on any airline as long as it was not a holiday.

After paying Omaha Travel our $1200, we received a certified package in the mail with the information to contact The Travel Center. We did everything we were supposed to and paid The Travel Center $544 under Vivian E.'s name. They cashed our check and sent us a certified package with our vouchers to book the trip.

When we received the vouchers, we found out we had to book the trip through Grand Incentives. We also read that we had to pay an additional $792 to be able to book the trip. Grand Incentives said the trip was not guarenteed and if the flight was over $350 we would have to pay the difference. It also said that we had to pick 3 different locations because Las Vegas was not guarenteed. The fine print also said that we had to travel on a Monday or Tuesday and it could not be used on the weekend. It said that if any info or money order was sent in wrong we would not receive a refund and our vouchers would be voided.

Luckily, we have recorded every conversation with Omaha Travel and The Travel Center that proves we were misled. My attorney has already got my money refunded to me from Omaha Travel and it was refunded to my bank account this morning. However, I have not received a refund from The Travel Center. I called the 1-800 number for The Travel Center and was told I would have to send an email to get my refund. I sent my email to tcwwcustomerservice@gmail.com to explain what happened and request my email. I never received a response and have not received a refund.

I advise everyone not to pay any money to The Travel Center! It is a scam!!!

We have done an internal investigation and have no record of a refund request or any issues with this person's vacation other than the information in this post.

We do however have signed documentation by the client requesting the vacation that they were to take.  Our terms and conditions that were signed by the client clearly state there are no refunds once the product has been paid for by at the request of the client and certified mailed to the client.

We were not in the sales of conversation between the client and the company that sold it to them so we have no knoweldge of what was promised to the client.  If the sales comapny misled this person we have no knowledge of it and it is unfair to say we are a scam when we clearly did nothing wrong.
