travel corp getaways won't honor two coupon offers, my loss $193 Chicago Illinois
Travel Corp Getaway is one of the more annoying example of lousy customer service. Their service sucks. I purchased an offer for cut-rate motel room, and my wife purchased on a few days later. We have been struggling to make reservations for 2 months. From the start the information is inadequate. They took are money on the offer, but didn’t supply a list of eligible motels. One offer was for the area near Disneyland, the other for Los Angeles. I went to their website, there is no link for those who have the vouchers as to included motels.
I have sent 4 emails to them and half dozen phone calls—only once did I get through. They thought that Janice and I wanted to use 2 vouchers for 2 parties on one visit, which they said is not permitted. That was wrong. We requested to use one voucher on 10/15 and the next on 10/29. I tried to set them straight about the difference, on August 25th, but haven’t received a response--been waiting 2 weeks. I have called 3 times since then and left messages. I have 5-hours spent dealing with them (including other details not mentioned). I am fed up. I recommend that others avoid this company. It isn’t worth the risk.
One more point I could get the equivalent offer on line through the motels without the upfront $183 and the annoyance.
