After spending over $300 for a vacation and buying Travel Guard Insurance, I found it was a waste of money as they only paid a few bucks. Going from Las Vegas to Sydney, we had two delayed flights, missing a connection and forcing a 24 hour delay and loss of day one of vacation, pre-paid hotel and tours. Travel Guard said that because it was a cockpit problem, not covered or day one covered. They paid a couple bucks for expensives during hold.

The return flight was stopped with an emergency landing in Honolulu and another 9 hour delay. Travel Guard said that because the paid a couple bucks on expensives on the first flight, not covered because they only cover once on a trip. Again it was a plane problem. Almost killed us.

I am still out money from day one, hotel, and loss of time. Trying now to get from travel agent. Don't waste your money on insurance.
