My husband and I have also become victims of Travelbridge company's fraudulent business practices. On March 15, 2002 we attended their presentation and were lured to become "associates" by the promised promotional trip to Alaska (my husband's life-long dream!!!). However, our multiple attempts to book the cruise failed; our calls were not returned, sometimes we were disconnected and/or we were put on hold for 30 min. at a time.

When finally we were able to reach someone, we were told that the cruises for which we could use this voucher were booked since last year. Although during the presentation we were told that we "could use this voucher whenever we wanted to". When we requested our money back and we were told that we could not do that because we signed a contract. When we made an attempt to talk with someone who would help us in this situation, we encountered various problems; we felt like they were "passing a buck" from one person to another.

We were even sent to Tempe's marketing office which has been shut down for a number of weeks. It has been frustrating experience to deal with the Travelbridge agency. Finally, we filled out the complaint report to the Arizona's Attorney General and also reported to our credit card company. Now we are waiting for the outcomes. Reading the list of disappointed Travelbridge customers has been very upsetting. And we hope that the Arizona's Attorney General will be able to close this company for good.
