I got a junk fax at work, curious so I called. Presented at least 10-5 star hotels to choose from. At time of booking only 2- 2 star hotels were available, both had only 1 restaurant which meant we would be eating in the same place for 15 meals. Wouldn't refund my $ so forced to go.

Upon arrival part of hotel was boarded up. All rooms facing water were unoccupiable, damaged from hurracane. Put us in room facing construction, couldn't even open drapes because people working near our room. No dresser, had to put suitcase on floor. Bathroom floor was soaked from water coming out of light from above room shower. Food in only restaurant was horible, saw 1 of those big flying roaches on the table crawling around flatware.

Checked out on day 2, losing all of our $, around $700.00 but it was either that or having a really bad vacation. Mind you I haven't gone on vacation in 5 yrs due to lack of funds so this was hugh for me. Travelcomm should be put out of business. Prior to my trip I filed a complaint with FL division of consumer services in Tallahassee but got no where. Spoke to Travelcomm manager, Mary & got no where. Eventually I was told by Suzanne, the travel agent,"what do you expect to get for $300.00 PP?" Well this is not how they 1st presented the package. I even asked them at 1st how they can offer the trip so cheaply & they attributed it to trouism being down since 9/11. This cheap vacation for 2 cost me lots
of stress & money. Close to double of what I planned & very costly airfare, over $800.00.
