travelehome megan chadwick Took money for vacation rental website- no inquiries in 6+ months- refused to refund $'s>> SCAM Internet
I was contacted by Megan Chadwick several months ago (Dec 2010) to create a listing on the travelehome website. I paid $160. I was guaranteed to convert this listing into rentals and was told I would get my money back if I was not satisfied. I was told that the website traffic was far greater than it is in reality.
After a month of no inquiries I called to find out what was going on. NOTE: My villa is listed in several other sites (such as HOME AWAY) and I receive daily inquiries (thousands of views) and many have converted to successful rentals.
Megan told me they would continue to promote the listing and not to worry- I would get inquiries. I also added more photos and information on the site. To date (after 9+ months) I have received no inquiries and when I called to ask for a refund- I was told they would not refund the money- just continue listing my villa.
I checked the views on the property and there were under 500 views in almost a year, indicating a very limited amount of traffic.
THIS COMANY IS A SCAM - do not pay to list your properties here.

this is a big !!!scam !!! company you will not get a single booking and the you said sir take a homepage listing and you will get bookings so first you 200 euro then again200 euro to get 0 zero in return and then you call me again and again very year ...you guys must be having some guts...
i did some research called some random homeowners and everyone is having the same situation no bookings infact i called 130 homeowners diff countries they were listed in homeaway websites found their numbers want to know what they said !!!
i can tell you they have no presence whatsoever in Asia, no one knows about this company i researched over that also.
i have left the company after knowin all this
!!!RIP OFF NOT A SINGLE BOOKING!!!
Tip:
guys always ask for at least 3 months free listing from companies you are not familiar with....don't get bushed by the sales person.
do not go for the discounts they give ultimately you give to them its their profit!!!!
