Complaint Review: travelodge hotel corp through HRN

Travelodge Hotel Corp through HRN are ripoffs. The hotel room was mildewey, the sockets hung out of the wall, the paint was peeling, & the elevator was antiquated ...

We made a reservation through Hotel reservation network for March 22, 2002. for the Travelodge at the Royalton Hotel in Miami. We arrived at midnite and the room was mildewy, the paint was peeling, the electrical socket in bathroom was out of wall, the elevator did not stop at the floors so you had to step down to get off. The air conditioner was not properly installed.

My husband had an asthma attack from the smell. I called their customer service center and was given a claim number 1166508, and said to send in my reservation, and Joe would look into it. I called back weekly since April 2nd, and Joe has been "unavailable" ever since. I feel they should know what the properties look like to stand behind them. I asked them if they checked on them and they said no. All I want is my 64.00 back for the night from hell.
