travelresinfo.com updates.travelresinfo.com phishing for credit card through email Internet
Got a phishing email saying plane tickets were purchased "using my credit card". Gave fake confirmation, ticket and seat numbers, but no airline, flight numbers, or other identifiying markers - not even my name. Gave travelresinfo.com as the site to view details. The site gives a link to cancel the purchase. The cancellation page then asks for your full name, creditcard number, and CVV "in order to cancel"; but does not ask for the confirmation or ticket numbers. The link in the email has an identifier so they can match the email to all this. IN SHORT, THEY ASK FOR CREDITCARD INFO WHEN YOU TRY TO CANCEL A NON-EXISTANT PURCHASE.
