Complaint Review: Travigo Hotels

Travigo Hotels Travigo Hotels on line I wanted to take my grandkids to disney next year June 2, 2016. But, won't be able to afford it. So I tried unsuccessfully to contact them, the number on the internet 212-208-1439 will not allow me to talk to anyone and cuts me off. I called the hotel they assign me to to cancell the reservation and they hung up on me. I think they are a scam. All I want to do is cancel my reservation. I tried all day today to cancell myi reservation. I don't have 400.00 to give them. I guese I will have to tell the bank to destroy the credit card. But, at the same time I don't want them to bill me. online Internet

I want to cancel the hotel at Lyndy's Motel Anaheim, California.  I called them and they hung the phone up on me.  I called Travigo customer service number 212-208-1439 is unavailable and cannot take messages.  Could you some kind of way contact them and tell them to cancel my reservation.  I cannot get thru.  I looked at my bills and decided that I cannot take my grandkids to Disney World.  I will cancell my visa, but I don't want to get charged for the hotel.  I just want to cancel my reservation.  I think they are some scam artist.  They need to follow the golden rule and treat people the way they want to be treated.  If they needed to cancel a reservation they would want to be able to.  They won't even answer their phone.  Please attorney general help me to get my reservation cancelled.  Thank you.  Grandma Watson

Thank you for your message and we would be happy to help. 

As a hotel search and not a booking site, trivago keeps no records of the transactions made through the booking sites and cannot alter or access your booking in any way we are afraid. 

Therefore, you will need to contact the booking site with whom you made your reservation with in order to cancel your booking. The details of your booking can be found in your confirmation email from the booking site.

If you cannot find your booking confirmation and cannot remember the name of the booking site used, you can check your:

  • Email including spam folder
  • Bank/credit card statement for the name
  • Browsing history
  • Hotel on trivago and see what booking sites are displayed there
  • Hotel contact information and call the hotel to find out who the booking was done with

On trivago, users can search and compare different hotels and prices on our site. We pull information from multiple OTAs (online travel agencies) and display the prices together. However, once a user clicks through to ‘view deal’, they are directed to the appropriate booking site which provides that price to complete reservation and payment details. trivago doesn't actually have any involvement in the making of the booking.
