My husband had purchased this accesory for my iphone 4s for my recent birthday. I had seen it in a product review special online before, and really liked the concept. My birthday being 7/5, he had had enough time to sneak my order in before the holiday. He is very thoughtful!

 

The phone case arrives in the mail on 7/1; we live pretty near to the warehouse, so it shipped quickly to us. I eagerly downloaded the app, and snapped the case onto my phone after allowing it the proper amount of time to charge. As the software loads...it doesn't sync to my phone. I remove the case and try again, with no luck. I uninstall and reinstall the app, still unable to sync the case to the phone and app. I finally UPDATE my phone, to no avail.

 

I am disappointed, and send the company a web request for assistance that day, the 1st- please email me about my product. They have no email address or phone number, you go to their website and submit a ticket from there. I wait a few days, and send another request for assistance on the 3rd, making sure to mind the holiday coming up- please TEXT me about my product. It's now the 8th, and I'm pissed. I have an $80 paperweight, and NO ONE bothers to get back to me. What company gives their employees a week off for Independence Day? Um, NO ONE. I send a furious email request, saying I want my money back, and to return this piece of plastic s**t to their location a city away. CALL ME, WE NEED TO TALK. I even found them on Facebook and requested contact, and still, no response.

 

I start researching their reviews online...they only have two consumer product reviews, both a single star on amazon. Our misfortune is that we purchased it directly, so now we have to fight to recover our losses. I didn't know about the purchase, otherwise I would've used the protection offered through sites like ebay and amazon in cases like this. This product is absolute s**t. And we bought on the lower end of their spectrum- $59.99 for the case and a tracking tag, the rest in shipping came to $75 and some change.

 

I'm beyond upset. What a way to ruin a special occasion, Bikn! I will forever tell my friend and family NEVER to purchase ANYTHING from Treehouse Labs, LLC. You cowards can't even respond to am email! Shame on you all!!! I have a one year old- had I known your product would be a waste of money, I could've gotten diapers, wipes, clothes, etc l. for my baby. Forget my own birthday, you're taking money away from my family now, my birthday is over!

 

In closing, I hope everyone employed by Treehouse Labs, LLC sucks c**** in hell. Thank you.

I was contacted yesterday by a "Bob" representing the company Bikn, calling from a protected number. I typically don't answer them, but on a whim, I did- I am SO GLAD I did! He said he's been working for two weeks to contact me with no record of me contacting him through the methods I attempted. I told him I did everything I could. After a slightly tense opening exchange, we easily transitioned into discussing the product.

He talked to me about the technical issues with the product, and offered three things: •come out to my house and attempt to connect the case I already own •replace it outright without troubleshooting •refund my money, minus the shipping After discussing my options at length with my husband, we opted for a refund. While I usually try until I can't try anymore, I was left with a negative impression of the product, and felt it best that I cut my losses and move on.

I was also asked to update the report here, since I can't remove it. While I still stand by the prior issues with the product, I am pleased with the flexibility Bob showed me after many weeks of frustration. I appreciate his willingness to come to my home, which is super convenient, and it wasn't a huge fight to get a refund. We are expecting a full redund minus shipling to our paypal account. Thank you, Bob. Now, to pick out another nice gift for myself- late birthday present!
