Please anyone out there stay away from these people! I am a recently widowed woman and wanted to put in pool for my grandchildren to enjoy. This all started May of last year, I contracted these people to put in above ground pool for me. The young man that came to my house his name is Robbie Hampton, was very nice and assured me it would be no problem for me to put pool in my back yard.

I go to court house and get plat and show him where septic and field lines are, he goes and gets building permit and we're off. This was the biggest and most exspensive mistake I have made. First the digging begins two kids look around the age of twenty one come with bobcat and was told would be dug just some what sloping. There's this huge hole in my back yard that has a big drop off between where going to place pool side and the sloping is a big bank with drop off. Now I was given a price of $5,000.00 half up front and rest when finished.

I had already pd him 2500.00 at this point so had no choice but to continue but now I also have cost of a deck to look forward to so I can cover big hole between pool and yard. They get pool set up, when ready to fill pool they tape water hose to inside of pool turn water on and leave , of course water hose comes loose and water runs in my yard and under the pool for like 10 hours before I notice what they have done. Called them next morning and told them they assured me no sand washed out from under pool (this was something I knew had to be a lie, but in the end it was the truth because they put very little sand under pool, not enough to wash out)

Then they put in pool and run extension cords through my yard from house to pool and leave them in middle of yard in rain and etc. Is this legal? Seems to be very dangerous that a pool co. could leave extensions cords with power to them for children to be stepping on. So I had to hire someone else to come and dig ditch to bury cords and put pole for electric down by pool because they said this was not included and did not come with pool. Another lesson learned.

Okay finally it is now end of May and kids can swim. Two days after setting up pool turned green of  course it was because it had rained so much (according to them) had to go to Walmart and buy chemicals, put in myself. Now kids had pool ladder that came with pkg but me being some what older had ordered ladder with big steps so I could walk in. Another 300.00 he assured me when got deck finisherd could just fasten to deck.

I don't really even know how to describe this, they come out cut ladder in incorrect place and fastened to deck and the only thing keeping it in was one screw in each handle no sand in the ladder that they were supposed to put in, and if my three year old grandson had of gotten on it, it would have come loose from deck. Already cut up ladder and ruined but would not replace. Did send one of their workers out to put sand in ladder and this is what I was told.......this is a monkeed up mess and I'm going back to the office and raise hell. Then he goes on to say father of company (Alan) had turned over to kids and they would probably go under.

Next came time to finally swim around end of June for me due to ladder situation then started noticing had to keep adding water and really wet around pool. Could not believe this! Liner was leaking, called to advise of situation of course I pd more for good liner with 35 yr warranty but now am being told that's only good if tear is in seams. Took liner out had over 300 pinholes states could have been bugs, so I pay another 100.00 to have exterminator to come out and spray during this time I noticed sand on one side not even 1/2 inch deep although when deck was built carpenter that built deck stated pool was unlevel.

When I asked them to put more sand ( you could see dirt through sand ) they stated couldn't liner wouldn't fit if put sand on that side a little unlevel they said. During all this when trying to resolve issued was talked to very abusive screaming and yelling by Robbie and sister Tonya finally told them I didn't get pd to argue but lawyers did. Only then did they agree to put in what they said was new liner. When liner was delivered took pictures of them thaking it out of box all crumpled up and box not even taped. But they swore was new liner. By now it's the end of Aug we have used this pool maybe two months. Then the end of Sept was time to winterize.

Pool still wet around outside they swore could not be liner must be just rain washing through yard. Now last wk had cover removed. No water in Pool!!!! Call a different pool company to come out and look at this pool, states he goes around cleaning up their messes all the time and I would never recieve any satisfaction from them and if I did I would be the first. He said liner had several holes and was probably a reconditioned liner and told me to call Co. liner came from and report them. Of course when called to tell them more screaming (very abusive and unprofessional) and no way was going to replace liner.

Back to the bugs again, that's what caused it even though two different exterminators stated no bugs. What I do know is I can take no more of this I have contacted a lawyer, he has advised me to have different pool company to put in new liner (another thousand dollars) and then we will sue for total damages. The mental strain and anguish has been horrible and once they have your money they are  very abusive. Please do not deal with these people......It has been a true nightmare. And on top  of all this, new pool company is telling me he thinks have dug into my field lines! Just pray for me I recieve some justice when all is said and done total cost for 36" round pool? Would you believe around 7500.00.

i cannot believe this co. they should not be in business. i now have a reputable pool co. redoing their work as i speak. they have no problem writting down everything they had to fix for me to have a pool this summer (even though it's a brand new pool) first of all there never were any bugs second of all pool was unlevel and it was in field lines. this co. now fixing my pool is providing me with a list to take to laywer when my pool is fixed. they are very professional totally unlike what i have been dealing with , i guess you really don't want to believe there are people like this in the world but after this i will be very cautious. the new co. fixing my pool had to add block to level, the sand that was in pool (which was very little) was full of rocks (new pool co. states there was no sense in this and is happy to take step by step pictures for me of new work being done and is also willing to make me a list to provide to lawyer ( hopefully to teach this co. they cannot treat people this way and get by with it) they also had to add one ton of sand after removing all old sand and rock, states the skimmer had screws that were too long and caused pool to leak between liner and wall and states was a recondintoned liner. by the way i have pictures of liner and box when they put in second liner. i'm serious this has been a nightmare, but after i seen what this co. was made of (very abusive and unprofessional ) i did not want them back on my property. i have reported this co. to bbb and soon as my pool is actually really installed by reputal co. i'm taking my paperwork and letter of stmnt from reputable pool co. to lawyer. that is not a threat just trying to stop this happening to anyone else and compensation for service i did not get. please take my advice and do not mess with these people. and by the way the employees name was rob.

We installed this pool and the customer was extremely happy with our work.  It states clearly in our contracts that the customer is responsible for electrical.  And she is also responsible for her own chemicals when the job is complete.  Her pool turned green weeks after the job was complete not 2 days like she stated.  Fresh water will not green that fast.  She neglected putting any chemicals in it herself.

She told us where to put the pool, she knew up front that she was going to do a deck just like she knew she had to do the electrical.  She ended up getting 3 ladders with this pool and she thought one of the handrails was too flimsy, so my guys tried to bolt it where it was more sturdy.  These handrails are never completely still, because they are made of plastic and alluminum.  She did not like the way he did it so we went back and fixed it.

She is completely lying about my worker saying the things about our company.  She could not even describe the guy that said it.  My workers have been here for 10-15 years each.  The guys that installed her pool have been in the business for 10 years.  Our company has been in business for 23 years.  She is only trying to make us look bad because she does not know how to care for this pool.

In August, She called and said it was leaking.  We went out the very next day and we found hundreds of pin holes in the bottom.  We explained to her that it had to be termites or some other kind of bug.  She argued with us and told us she didn't have bugs.  I told her we would install a liner at out cost of the liner which was $300 and we would do the labor for free.  She refused and threatened to sue us.  I finally told her that we would just install it so she would stop calling and threatening our company.  I explained that she needed to get her ground treated or the same thing would happen again with the bugs.

We went to install the new liner which was in the box taped and strapped and she told my installers that it was a used liner because it was not in plastic.  It is impossible to install a used liner because they shrink and you can also not fit a liner back in a box after it is taken out.  I told her I would be happy to have the manufacture call her and explain how they ship their liners.

We have bent over backwards for her and we have done everything she has asked.  We replaced 1 liner for a reason that was not our responsibility.  Now she wants us to replace another.  I warned her this would happen when we put in the last one.  We did not put her pool on field lines.  She would have sewage running under her liner and it is not!!!!
