Tri-County Automotive And Towing Beware! Worst auto repair experience of my life! Fort Pierce Florida

Taking my truck here was one of the worst experiences of my life.

The transmission was slipping so I had it towed here. They said they couldn't repair it, but would replace it with a re-furbished transmission for $1,000 installed including a six month warranty. They changed the transmission, I paid the money in full, and when I drove off it wouldn't shift out of first gear! I circled around the block and went back inside. This is when the real problems began. The two women behind the desk didn't believe me and were not helpful. I called a few days later and they said it was done, telling me some bands needed to be tightened. When I drove off the second time it wouldn't shift easily into high gear, and when it did, it made a loud noise. I drove it back again and insisted on talking to the mechanic. He drove it and spent another 3 hours working on it. He was able to get it to drive correctly, but that only lasted two days. When I returned the same office girls basically called me a liar. When you ask for the owner, they tell you he is not there and they don't know when he will return. They won't give you his name or phone number either.

Since I had a receipt that said 'six month warranty' I asked them to drive the truck and repair it under the warranty. They did, and despite the hard shift into high gear, and loud noise, they said that was OK and refused to repair it or deal with me. After wasting three days arguing with this business, I gave up. I traded in the truck and lost a lot of money that I didn't have to lose.

To anyone that is thinking about using this company, I recommend that you run. Pay a little more through a larger or reputable company and you will feel much better. Any warranties that you pay for aren't worth the paper they are written on. I think the only way they stay in business is because they are cozy with the local police and sheriffs, because they do towing for them. They have a lot of law enforcement awards in their office. There are so many choices for auto repair, go somewhere else and save yourself time, money and headaches.

Someone, I believe maybe Burt said Tony has a felony record in the FL Dept of Corrections. I looked and his name is not there anywhere. I tried multiple spellings of his name? Have you actually pulled him up? If so, how? He isn't in there.

Interesting....Well, this has been real fun getting all of you felons and former felons there all fired up. I will not be posting any more after this, because the previous posts speak for themselves and they don't come off, so I could see why the truth irritates all of you. Jamie, I don't know why in the world you think that Tony had to come out and hold our hands....LMAO.

Tony is one of the most inexperienced operators I have ever had the challenge of trying to teach. Mr 1/2 inch chain on the framerail and muscle it over with a 50,000 pound winch. As for the cash tickets I have never taken any money from them without asking or advising the boss that I needed to borrow some money, and paid it back(which didn't happen unless it was an absolute emergency). Its kinda hard to turn in cash tickets with one figure on them, and not have the cash?

Remember, I have worked for many other companys, of who you all know, and you guys are the first to ever call me a thief. How many times have you all been called theives? I've lost track just on my end. Remember this report was started because once again, Tony ripped somebody off and now they're unhappy. What else is new?

Oh, and I did make calls to the local towers down there and tell them about this thread as well as a call to Sheriff Mascara at S.L.C.S.O, FHP and Martin County reguarding your felony background and impounding cars for several law enforcement agencies. See the problem with a slander lawsuit is the allegations have to be false, and there has to be damage to the reputation of the individual, usually via the media. But we can all goto the Florida D.O.C. website and see its true for ourselves. The problem here is everything we're saying is true and I'd say your reputation is already shot considering the God awful time I had trying to persuade accounts to use us for $75.00 anywhere in St. Lucie county. AND THEY STILL WOULDN'T USE YOU! That also goes for the hoochies and former hoochies. I spoke to another towing company in your area who says "ACME towing hates Tony". Maybe they've reconciled their differences since then, I don't really know and truthfully don't really care.
It doesn't matter because it all makes sense now. The bottom line is that I have never been ripped off by any employer until this guy. And I'll admit as I did before, I can have a bad temper at times. No matter how mad I've ever gotten, and no matter how many hurtful things I have said to my former bosses, I have never had any employer look me straight in the eye and tell me "I'm not paying you the money I owe you". There I said it again. Now he has 2 75 ton rotators. I hope he gets audited and has to justify all this money he spends. With or without payments.

And to Kim, Jamie the felon and everyone else, I don't know where I got the reputation of being a butt-kisser? I was and still am the guy who tells the boss to shove it , if we're being treated unfairly.Thats what started the entire first fight....DUHHHH. I would think you would remember that from the first time Tony pushed me when I told him "I quit" and then punched him in his mouth. There again maybe you should check my references on this also. I think you'll find I couldn't be any further from being a butt-kisser, but hey, whatever makes you guys sleep at night, right? Good luck to all past and present employees there. I'll have to apologize to everyone for Tony's terrible behavior and his office "escorts" terrible attitudes. I feel really bad for Cindy in all this, but hey, thats another story. I will end this thread here.

I know there are a lot of Tri-County haters lurking out there, and keeping up with this, so I'll quit hogging the lime-light and pass the mic on. Good luck to everyone.

I was smart enough to be gone the first time he ripped me off in my pay check

This was a horrible company I ever worked for. To set the record straight right off the bat. I had a good job at Kauff's running a rotator, and before that I had a really good job at Webb's in Lakeland. The only reason I went to the East coast was to try something diffrent. When Burt called my while I was setting my rotator up at Kauff's and told me there was a guy that needed two rotator operators and was willing to pay top dollar I went with Tony's company. Only to work two roll overs, and a couple of other recoveries that he did get paid for plus a lot of tows, to get handed a seven hundred dollar pay check. That was it for me!! I seen right thru thids guys s**t. I give Burt a lot of credit for sticking it out as long as he did. I know he can not be paying for those rotators towing by towing a school bus for 75.00 any where in the county, and also the same rate to dead head to another county and tow those buses as well.

I may not own a towing company but I have been around it all my life. I know good bosses, and companies. Here is a list Webb's Kauff's Stepp's Flint's Ryan's K.W. Wrecker service, 5A Towing, Breingtons. See where we come from in central Florida we all work together, and do not back stab the other company. It is sad when no one will work a recovery with Tony's comapny because of his reputation.

I remember distictly telling Tony I made 70 grand the year before, and showed him a old pay stubb with a year to date on it. He told me I would make way more then that. Then when his retarded mechanic and toothless wrecker drivers he had at that time heard me they all laughed and told me from the start you will be lucky to make half of that, and Tony was not used to having qualified operators.

The very first roll over I will always remember. A loaded tractor trailer on it's side with the roof ripped apart. Of course Retarded Tow it all Pete got there first and rigged half inch chains on the fram rails and told Burt, and I all we had to do was winch it over. I looked at Burt and laughed my a*s of and asked is this guy for real?

Kim as far as you go you already had a reputation of performing over time in the bosses office. Both there at Tony's and at the dealer ship you worked before. Even the toothless wrecker drivers ya'll had there told me if I wanted a good time just talk to you. I told them why would I trade stake for Tuna fish. You were very rude not only to the workes but to the customers. You walked around like you were married to Tony untill of course his wife showed up then you were a no bady again.

Also I do not remember the other little girl working in the office too but she was also performing a lot of over time in the bosses office.

The bottom line here is Tony was not used to having qualified wrecker operators such as myself and Burt. Burt is the one of the best operators I ever worked with. Yes we both still learned every day, but who does not? You can not pay for a 400,000.00 dollar wrecker and pay for good help and still make a profit by doing stuff for next to nothing. All Tony did was cut throat and under price jobs to prevent other towing companies from getting the work.

In my week there I seen many unhappy customers coming thru the doors about work done on ther evehicles, but what can you expect when you hire guys standing on the street will work for beer to get the job done.

Burt the best thing you ever did was get away from that convict. He would just bring you down to the level of other toothless drivers he held there becuase no one els would hire those guys.

As for me I have been in Iraq for the last three years. I have had many promotions, and I am in charge of over 1500 goverment vehicles and three large maintenance shops. Yes I do save my money and when I do return home for good I will have enogh cash to purchase my own wrecker cash and start from there. Not by selling or transporting other things that do not get hooked to the back of a wrecker.

Tony I wish you better luck in the future. You could have a gold mine there if you charged what you were worth, and hired clean cut operators with teeth to service your customers.

Kim WAKE UP and take a look at yourself in the mirror if it does not brake and ask your self where you would like to be in 5 years. If it is doing the same you have been doing maybe you need to invest in some good Knee Pads.

Wow, first this website is laughable and disgusting it is worse than Myspace with drama, discussions, and topics that have absolutely nothing to do with the performance of a company.
But... I am in rare form this evening. So, I find myself stooping to your level Burt and I must tell you, it is no wonder from down here that your perception of fiction and reality is greatly distorted.
I will start out with the obvious, you are the only person who finds it necessary to continually engage in such childish behavior on this website. I have worked at this company for eight years and in doing so I have watched many peons such as yourself and your friend John come and go. Both you and your little friend John promised Tony that there wasn't anything on wheels you could not tow, but yet when the time came to prove yourselves Tony had to go out and hold your hand time after time again. You couldn't make a three point turn with a pinto if you tried. Any owner of a tow company reading this knows that drivers promise the world and rarely do they deliver.
While I may have been working between the towing and garbage company at the time you were employed the recount of events that Kim discussed are 100% correct and true. You are a thief, I myself signed off on plenty of your cash tickets that either were short money or had no money attached to them at all, hoping that it wouldn't be caught.
As far as the events of the day you got knocked down by that "little man" as I believe you referred to him before, you were the one who got out of his rotator yelling and swearing at him and then assaulted him first and more than half of the company was witness to it.
You are right about one thing though Burt, Tony does have little to say about all of this because he knows how insignificant you are and always will be. You are nothing and will always be nothing. Burt why is it that you had to come all the way over from the west coast of Florida for work? Oh wait, that's because you burned your bridges with all of those tow companies so you had to go somewhere where no one knew you. All this is... is jealousy.
Tony suffered an incredible injustice many years ago and that is how Tri-County was started - with one single tow truck and his determination, strengh and character, he has come from NOTHING and he has built it into one the largest tow companies in the Tri-County area and all his other business' are the same. You know it's funny you always kissed Tony's a*s like most people in Fort Pierce but it's only when his back is turned that the Sh*t talking begins. He does more for his employees, customers, and people in general than any man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. His only fault is that he has too big a heart. Is he difficult to work for, can he be an a**hole, sure he can be, but that is not how he is day in and day out. If you come to work and do your job you won't have a problem with him. Tony gives people the benefit of the doubt and he believes in second chances because that's what he got in life. My only wish is that more people could be like him - open minded and less judgemental. So, Burt I'm sure in a day or two you will have some heinous response to this, but perhaps your time would be better spent educating yourself because your english and writing skills are atrocious.
P.S - If everyone at Tri-County has a Felony how is it that I am working there???

Burt you must take such enjoyment in trying to ruin other peoples lifes. Your accusations are completely out of line and disgustingly brutual, I will admit. For you to attack a friend of mine is absurd enough, but when you attack my character thats a new ball game. Did you know that I am currently employeed as a Communications officer, not a job a crack w***e would have, I'm sure. I'm sorry that you felt neglected by all the office personal and that your filled with so much hate that you can't get past something from so long ago. This should really be your last attack on me if not I will be contacting a Civil Attorney for Slander, and obviously it will not be hard to prove since you've felt the need to leave it in writing. My suggestion to you is to spend less time thinking about who I lay on my back for and more time praying, because your going to need it. Judgement can only be passed by one and your no were close to him.

If you read through these posts and what has been said about Tony and his hoodlums in these posts, the only thing he has to say for himself is we are all jealous. We'll all take this as an admission of guilt. And as for me being trash, that means absolutely nothing coming from desperate girls working in an office who lie on their backs and get on their knees for a scum bag like this. You girls will have to stop eating at Votino's and start going somewhere where they have an all you can eat valtrex buffet. I would not dream of having any relations with these crack hoes and their summer teeth (some are there and some aren't). Oh and I do remember a time where Kim and Tony were all over each other in his office, while I was right there. Pete was unwilling to work for him at that time, so I guess Tony thought he'd try to get even by sleeping with his wife? With that rotten grill of hers, I'd tend to think Pete got even with Tony. If there is one person I know of in this world who karma will catch up with, its this one here. Hope she gets ya good. I'll make some calls to your locals down there and tell them about this thread and see what they have to say. Im sure you can look forward to some positive posts in the near future.

Temper, temper!! I'll take your anger and hostility as an admission of guilt. Not sure what all this stuff about Tony doing all this "wonderful" stuff for me was, but I remember it a little different. There were absolutlely no days where that man "gave" me a thing and I'll go into detail on that in a minute. Many employees have came and went at this felon's headquarters including the forementioned. When I first went to work there I never understood why everyone in Ft. Pierce hated this guy. I thought he was Ok at first. I really did. I couldn't get anyone in the 3 counties to help me with anything because of who I worked for. And if you don't believe me, call the locals down there and ask any of the local businesses about him. But the first bad argument we got into, I remember it like it was yesterday. I broke his radio that was assigned to me against the fence and told him I was quitting. He came up and pushed me, I slipped and fell on the ground. "Game on" now. All I could think is " I know this little idiot didn't just push me and I know I'm not on the ground", so when I got ahold of him I clearly remember punching him in his mouth and busting it from his lower lip down. (This is a great guy, right?) He was so furious because I was quitting, like he thought he could try to rule me or something? LMAO! Not in this lifetime. So I clearly remember him saying that he wasn't paying me the money he owed me. Nice guy! My stupidity was for going back there the 2nd time in good faith. Its one thing to deny you owe someone money, but to admit it and and just simply say "I'm not paying you"? I'm sure hes a role model for every scum bag out there. He wasn't mad because I was quitting and he liked me, he was mad because he has all clowns running his drug money wreckers and I was the only one with any skill. As for this giving me assets lets go over that a minute and I really have no reason to lie about this. If the guy did do something good for me I'd admit it and I shall yet. The first time I worked there I already had a 2 new cars and a place to live, and needed no help from him whatsoever. The second time I came back I did not have an apartment anymore so Tony volunteered to help me find a place. Kudos to him for that. The problem was the place he found me was so disgusting it had been condemmed and was unliveable (Just what someone who hasn't much money needs, right). There was NEVER any car given to me at ANY time for ANY reason. I was at one time going to but an old black Audi that had been impounded by Pete and damaged by Pete, but Tony failed to produce the title for it so I never bought it. And as for the carpet it cost $750.00 that Tony advanced me to get the carpet put in, because the old carpet had dog urine and trash in it. It was really sick! All of the $750.00 was paid back to him and then some. Because of apparent volunteer status there the carpet was also left behind when I left. He called me on a friday night(which he didn't have to do, but he did) and said he would bring by the money that he owed me, but when Sunday came around and I called him to see if I could get my pay. I was called an A$$hole. For wanting to get the money I earned? I had a sick baby and no money and was struggling. If he did not have the money, that would have been all he had to say, and I would have struggled harder to help him, but instead I got called names for trying to support my family. This is a great guy, the kind we'd want all our daughters to meet and marry, right? When your down, he kicks you. I finally ended our relationship by telling him (suprisingly calm which is very unlike me, I'll admit) on the nextel that he wasn't a very good person and I was quitting. I got called more names. Oh and I like the cheesy attempt to make it look like you have friends in that area, but where exactly is acme located? You guys didn't make up fake names did you? Lets name some real ones here and see what they say about Mr. Wonderful. Sports Towing (who also wanted to hire me, but I turned it down. Thought nobody wanted to hire me there...hmm). Try Kauff's, MyTowing, KW (who also offered me a job and is in your area hmm.). These are real company's there! Unlike these fake ones hes come up with in these post's. Even simpler, just look up Ft. Pierce Florida Towing and Tri-County and see what any of the locals think of him.

I know the owner, he is realy a good person. we are in the same buisness and have never had any issues, the report that has been filed is incorrect. when you leave a car at a tow yard and go off and return a month latter don't expect not to have a bill, if it was me you would not even had a chance to get the car back, count your self lucky. and as for the lady that use to work there "we know your past ". I'm no saint, and this owner is know different. we have people who count on use, they have familys and children. when you are on the side of the road and need help. we will still be there to help. Interesting reading, I must say. I worked for Tony for many years, and in that time I can not recall anyone, on or underneath his desk and that includes myself. Although, I do remember alot of ex-employee's who spent more time kissing his backside than they did actually doing the job they were paid to do. Defamation, is the first thing that does come to mind Burt, and I dont think I heard you saying any of these things when you were invited into my home, eating at my dinner table or spending a holiday weekend with my family. Of course, trash talking is all that can be expected from garbage.

So I would like to add to Burt's account of the way he recalls things. I remember Tony giving you a home to live in, a car to drive for your hermet wife, money to put carpet in your new home, cash for what ever lie you had for him on a weekly basis, and that doesnt include the money mysteriouslly disappeared from your invoices, that he never took back because he felt sorry for you. How many times were you rehired by Tri-county, because no one in this county wouild hire a worthless tow ruck driver? Guess obviously those things slipped your mind, must be covered by all the garbage your have cluttering your brain.

Its somewhat understandable that your lack of hard work and moral ethics has made you bitter, but thats the reason you will never be or have what Tony has. He is a business man that started with nothing, and made it in to a striving company that is sure to take care of his "many" children and his family for a very long time. What have you done for your family to secure thier future?

Tony DiFrancesco (if anyone cares to research this in Florida department of corrections) is a convicted felon in the State of Florida. He dances around the laws in the state by using his sons name which is also Tony (Anthony) DiFrancesco. There is no way any convicted felon would be allowed on any rotation list for police. He bribes the local and State police by pulling them out of the mud when they get stuck, pays them money and also tows their cars for free. He also has had an affair with a particular lieutenant from the Martin county sheriff's office as well as all the girls in the office including Jamie, Megan, Kim and several others that have came and went.

He is a control freak and let me tell you if he was actually big he might be dangerous, but right now it just amounts to little mans syndrome. He keeps these snotty little girls in the office to do his dirty work while he watches and listens on his cameras from his office above. Most of them just sleep their way around that town. Jamie made her way from Bill Shultz Chevrolet on US1 and his been underneath Tony's desk ever since. He has a very bad reputation right there in his home town and nobody likes this guy or will lift a finger to help him out. This mans operation was started with drugs and his background proves it. He even at one time let people sleep with his former wife for cocaine. I cannot count how many children this guy has, but I know its a lot. Stay far away from this man and his establishment of hoodlums. Thats one of the jokes about that place. Tri-Felony towing. If you don't have at least 3 felonies, you don't fit in there.

To JJsmith Good luck. This man is a rip off artist. Not only is he bad with customers, he is bad with employees also. My best friend, and I went to work for Tony operating his big rotators, he promised this amount of money, lied and said he had a lot of buisness witch he did not. He did not pay like he said he was going to. He ripped both of us off with our pays. His girls in the office are very rude to everyone. It is a wonder he is still in buisness today. trust me the local police departments do not like him any longer. I seen him rip people off charge for parts that they did not need or infact he never even instaled. If I was you Iwould have sued him. Karma is a mother, what goes around comes around, he will get what he gives.
