Complaint Review: tri-county rentals

Harvey Marder (You) reviewed in the last weekQuality Poor to fair Appeal Poor to fair Service Poor brought my lawnmower in and the repairman said there is a 14.95 fee for looking at the mower and if i decided to take it back before repairs were done i would have to pay the charge.they looked at the machine and said it needed a new blade,sparkplug and a governer spring inside the mower and that the spring was beyound repair. they told me it would be 149.00 then they ordered the parts and added a note to the insurance i purchased from tractor supply that i tampered with the machine which i didn't and that voided my insurance and the coverage i paid for when i bought the machine which is a power plus policy. and that left me with paying the full bill then they called me and told me that they found something else wrong and needed to order another part at that point i decided to remove my cub cadet self propelled mower from they're possession and had to pay the 14.99 but when i went to pick the machine up they gave it to me in peices and loaded it on my truck, and brought it to a person that repaired it for 62.00 including parts and they did not need the spark plug or governer spring so with the 14.95 i gave to tri county it actually cost me 77.00 instead of 200.00 and yes i am upset with tri-county and the way they handled the repairs so i would look around before ever bringing anything to them because it will cost you 3 times the price .and dont buy insurance because its worthless.
