Hello Fellow Victims of Abuse,

We have had our loan with Triad for a couple years now. We had some circumstances financially that forced payments to be late. They call all the time. It begins at 8:30 am and doesn't stop until 9:00-9:30. After repeatedly telling them not to call me at work, they still continue to do so. I now answer my work phone and tell them that my supervisors monitor my calls and that my job is on the line. Obviously, this is an exaggeration, however, it could be accurate.

When they call me on my work #, I answer, and tell them that they are calling my place of employment, and that I will not discuss anything with them on that #. Since they feel that they have me on the phone they try to continue to collect the payments that are behind. I simply ask them, is this call being recorded? The response from them was, not all calls are, however, randomly they will record. I continue to ask them can you please record this call? They ask why would you want that, my response is for quality control. I was forwarded to a supervisor, keep in mind, I will not discuss the account at all while they are speaking, although they are trying there best for me to open up. All I will ever say is record the call.

At that point, to move the call along, they tell me that they are recording, and my response is..... "Do not call me at my employer, you are risking my job with the company I represent." They have contacted my sister-in-laws, mother-in-law whom I don't even know. They call my sister, mother, brother-in-law.

We were on the repo list at one point, because we have had men banging on our door at 5:30 in the morning, like they were the swat team, I didn't answer the door, so they sat outside of my house calling and calling, leaving messages on my machine telling me they are sitting out front. They stated that they were going to get the Sheriff so they can get the vehicle. ok-honestly, if you don't see the vehicle out front, what makes them think I am going to get it and turn it in. Ovbviously, I can only out smart them for so long, but long enough to make the payments.

I have emailed the CEO, the SVP of Repossessions, and cc'd managers that email me regarding the debt to make sure that no one calls my work #. I have told them that we no longer have any communication with the family members they are calling. I have even gone as so far to play their game and tell them that my husband and I are separated and that he has the vehicle, to leave me alone. I played their game again, and told them that if they can ever get him on the phone to get some child support for the 3 kids he left. They backed off for a couple days, but then back on the pursuit, since no one reads the comments that are placed on the account. This buys some time, but they will pick up strength as soon as they realize they are still not getting paid.

I have all documentation saved from the calls they make to me at work. I have an email from a supervisor stating that my work # has been removed from their system, which is not true, since they just called me yesterday. This company is definitely in violation of harassment. There is no way that this type of collection practices is legal.

Perhaps this company will try and use the Subprime Credit Crisis that our country is facing, as their excuse to get back into profits, but then again, we are paying 21% interest, so I guess they made their money.
Please add me to the class action, I would love to put this company down with all the other banks and lenders.

I had triad and finally got them paid off. They would all hours starting at 8am to. I was too alittle late but never thirty days. I ask for the payments history, what a suprise. they have me down as thirty days lates I don't know how many. Also when I went to pay off the loan they told me that i had to come up with another 900.00 to get my title. I ask what was that for and they told me it was late charges and interest. They are the most crooks that anybody can deal with. Good luck on them. I now have new car and with toyota financial and they are so nice. I noticed that they don't have a ripoff report filed on them. what a suprise.

They excleterated my two month deferment because I was late and then repo my auto. I have proof of my payments, they still would not answer questions on my account. On 1-9-08 I asked to have history of my payments sent. On 1-14-08 they sent a notice to sell auto, that was mailed 1-11-08. I still have not received my account history. I requested a copy of my deferment information, they stated that they would not give this to me, that I should have it. I am at a loss. I show my payments and yes some are late. I don't know what to do. They are very rude to deal with. I tried from 1-10-08 until 1-16-08 to get ahold of them I kept getting a recording stating that they had unusual call volume, it would then send me to a message service where they told me to leave a message. Only to have after the beep, for the phone to hang up.
