I don't think what is happening to me is as bad as what happened to other Triad customers. But I want to post this so people can see how they are on another level.

Below is what I faxed to Triad in a letter. This is the second time they have done this to me:
"On Tuesday, March 28, 2006, I spoke to a Triad Representative named Lance and made arrangements with him regarding my delinquent account. He said I would need to pay the remainder of what I owed for January 2006 and I agreed and did a check-by-phone at that time (which has cleared my bank account). Lance also noted and WE agreed that my February payment will be received by Triad by the end of the following week, which is April 7, 2006.

Today is March 31, 2006 and I have received several calls today and yesterday (Thursday and Friday) from other Triad representatives saying I need to make my payment. I told them that it should be in the system the arrangement I made with Lance. Each representative did confirm that is noted in the system, but a supervisor is now denying it. Yesterday I spoke with one representative and told him of the arrangement, that I'm sure he already knew of since it is in the system. He then put me on hold to speak to a supervisor.

After being on hold, the representative returned and said the supervisor said the arrangement is fine. I confirmed that I have until the end of next week and the representative said yes. Today, I received yet another phone call, this after someone also left me a message about 2 hours earlier, and I had to go through the whole thing again. This time the representative just transferred me to the supervisor who she said I spoke to yesterday name Mr. Beazel (unsure of the spelling). Mr. Beazel did not answer, but I did leave a message letting him know that this is along the lines of harassment and I will be filing a complaint. I then called Lance and left him a message saying the same thing.

I'm not sure what Triad is trying to pull, but it is unethical and in violation of consumer rights. I sent Triad a letter requesting that the company only contacts me in righting just to prevent things like this from happening. I know the letter was received because the calls stopped. Obviously, the company has disregarded my request and again is misleading me as the consumer by reversing an AGREEMENT made by one of their representatives. This is unprofessional and deserves to be reported for investigation."

I receved three more calls today. I made another payment online today because the fee is a little lower and so I can print out my confirmation. I wonder if they are able to charge these transcation fees. I heard that only utility companies are allowed to do this.

They've done the same thing to me as well with making arrangements and not honoring them except they showed up to take the car. Luckily it was in the garage they couldn't access and I told them they weren't getting it.

I have a bad deal and I have one more year of being hounded by them. It has been so traumatic dealing with them, that it's been a real turn off driving the car. I've tried getting agreements in writing, but they've never agreed to it.

I just wanted to let you know that in order to keep your vehicle, you will need to make sure it is in a garage, or someplace unknown. You may have verbal agreements with Triad, but nothing in writing. Make sure your vehicle is not setting out for them to find. It is probably already up for repo. How do I know? I had arrangements about my payments, and the day I was to make the payment, my vehicle was gone. I suggest you ask for your arrangement in writing, and in the mean time, have your vehicle hidden, or in a garage. Don't take it to work or anything. HIDE IT or, it will be gone. Welcome to Triad's victim list. Good Luck, and I hope all finds you well.
