Triad-Road loans approved my auto loan, then after 17 days, "kicked" the loan back & refused to fund the loan. Leaving it "pending" not "denied" yet they advised the dealer to get the car back from me.

It was because of employment verification. NOT CREDIT issues. The Triad rep. did not do her due diligence to get the employment verification. She talked to the employer once & because of timing agreed to call employer back in 1 hour, but did not! Then she claims to have called the employer back the next morning.

She was already told that the employer was on vacation that week & would not b there. But the ID, nor voice mail does not support that the Triad rep called back. I called Triad & never received a call back.

Now 3 weeks later Triad is exercising the ability to take as long as they choose to decide to change their mind & not fund the auto loan.

The idiocy continues

Ok. Here's the latast lunacy from these idiots. I traded in my car on May 6. The dealer sent a check for the payoff amount specified by Triad. apparently, it was lost in the mail as Triad said they never recieved it. The dealer stopped payment on the check and overnighted another one. Triad CSR said the payment was received on the 17th. Last Friday, Triad mailed out the release of lien and the title to the dealer.

Today, I get a call from Triad at home. I called them back and spoke to a CSR who told me I owed $1,233.66 - how would I like to pay that today? I asked him if he was out of his mind. That loan was payed off on May 17. He put me on hold to investigate and ended up cutting me off. With blood boiling, I called back and got a Jeff Rust. He says that Triad has not received payment, and that they have received the first check that was flagged. He asked for the dealer name and number. I gave him that and the finance guy's name. So they are going to call and investigate. How stupid can these people be!?

Why would these dumbarses release lien on a vehicle of it wasn't payed off!? I can see it now. I will get get daily collection calls on this as tho we have never spoken, and I will likely hear from a collection agency or attorney trying to sue me. I can't wait. I will sue the crap out of these morons. I am sooooo tired of this. I have nothing to do with them anymore. I hope they try to repo the old car. It would be funny to watch.

Angie, the Editor said he was waiting to hear from an atty. to post an email addy for us to coordinate with this class action suit. I hope it's soon. Triad must be dealt with. They are totally out of control.

I had similar problems with funding with Triad, I purchased my car at the dealer on 03/03/06 and it took Triad almost 3 weeks to give the dealer authorization to deposit the check, It wasnt until I called the Person in the funding Dept who
handled my loan about 20 times a day that she finally returned my calls and the loan was funded, I honeslty think If I hadn't followed up the loan never would have been funded

Thanks for the tips...

I appreciate the tips they help me put things in perspective. Especially the part where I am told to be thankful (Divine intervention) that the loan didnt go through. Your posts showed me what possible (or inevitable) issues & problems would have transpired had I had to deal with Triad for the length of the loan. Definately worse instead of better.
I agree that Triad's people have no scruples, so how can they treat others so badly? People are merely trying to make a living & a vehicle is a tool to do that. Yet Triad does everything to hinder people from having (keeping) their cars.
They say yes, so that they can say NO.
It would be nice to see this company lose this game they are playing with people's livelihoods.

AJ, if this isn't devine intervention, I don't know what is. Angie is right... you DON'T want to have ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY! Think about it... they are already screwing you over and the financing hasn't even gone through... THINK ABOUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN DURING FUTURE DEALINGS WITH THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY!! They think they can behave in any manner they desire and it is acceptable... read all the other reports about them and you will notice how similar all the victim's accounts are. They think that just because the take chances on people with less than perfect credit they are justified in harrassment, fraud and illegal contract violations. Trust me, you were spared a TON of headaches and money by them rejecting your loan. Think of it as a blessing.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aj, Please read the other posts!!! You are better off NOT having anything to do with Triad. They will somehow end up taking your vehicle whether or not they have a legit claim to do so. Stay Away!!! They are nothing but trouble. You would be better off walking than getting involved with Triad. In the end, you'll end up walking anyway because they will have taken your vehicle. Read the other posts about Traid on rip-off if you already haven't. Traid is a pathetic sinking ship, and their days are numbered. For your own protection, don't deal with Traid!!!!!!!!! Good Luck to you and make sure you save every written corresponence and document any phone calls. I can gurantee you'll need in the future.
