tribute credit card / compucredit closed my account when i was only 6 days late with payment Internet

i have had a tribute credit card for 2 years..i as my credit report says have never missed a payment.


i did not receive a bill for august 09 and although it was my fault for not remembering it should have come, when i received a call on 8/27/09 i went and made sure that they were correct and had missed the payment.


i spoke with a supervisor and was assured that if i made the payment over the phone everything would be fine so i authorized a payment to be taken out on the 4th of september.


today, the 5th of september, i received a letter stating that my account had been closed because i failed to honor the terms of the agreement so i called another supervisor named PHILLIP;prob not his real name since he was a foul foreigner from india and they are all liars and frauds, who informed me that if its late once they close the account and you may not get it reopened.


now it will be reported on the credit report that they closed it for non payment when this is far from the truth but what do i expect from a foreigner from india.


never use this company, this credit card..they have no regard for their great customers and if they do this to someone who has never been late  what do you think they'll do to you..
