Complaint Review: Tribute Master Card

I have been a customer of Tribute Master Card for about 2 years. Last month they called my cell phone to remind me my payment was due. I authorized the amount to be debited from my checking account. When I received my bank statement I realized that it had not been debited and went online to check the status of the payment. I called and they informed me that the account was permanently closed and there was nothing way to change that. I am trying to by a home in the next few months and this will affect my credit score negatively. When I informed them of that they told me "sorry, it's closed. Would you like to set up a payment now to cover your balance?" What? Are you kidding me?
