On May 5th, I mailed my payment at the local post office to Tribute Mastercard in their envelope. On May 15th, I noticed it had not been posted as a credit to my account, so I called them and was told it was never received, but to wait a few days to be sure. I then called back and did a payment by phone (which they charged me for) to correct the situation and filed a complaint with the post office.

I subsequently made an additional payment in June by phone, and I noticed my available balance was now ZERO. I called them and they said I needed to request for my card to be reinstated. so I did so by phone. I was told today that my account was permanently closed with no explanation. I have been a customer for 2 years and have never been late for any payment, and I always pay double or triple the minimum payment due. I was about to pay me balance down as I use this card for travel, but now they can wait until my attorney gets involved.

They are a crap company, rude foreign customer service people, and I may never pay them off. Let them take me to Court!

Cannot help you here. They have every right to lower your credit limit and close your account anytime they deem fit. You missed a payment, that alone will usually lower your credit limit. Whether or not the post office lost your check, is not their problem. Pay online or over the phone if you want to be guaranteed that the payment is ontime.
