I have a credit line of $300 when sign in for this credit card. The company took $150 right away for annual fee from this credit line. I used only $128 for the remaining balance.

I paid the minimum payment on time but when I received the bill they said that I have late charges of $40 plus and over the limit fees. They continued to charge me with these additional fees every time I made the minimum payment.

I called customer service and asked them why I have late payments and over the limit fees. I know I was on time in paying my minimum payment but they did not give me explanation.

I'm not sure how you only got hit with $150 to start. When I got mine, they charged me the $150 plus the $29 activation fee, totalling $179 and my inital available balance was $121.

How are you making your payment to them? My suggestion is to use their online website at mytributecard.com and use their payment options there to have them take it out of your checking account. So far, every payment I've made on that system has posted within 5 business days. I don't trust the mail service at all. I also don't know how long it takes Tribute to "process" payments after they are received. So it's much easier to use the electronic option.

Also, when they put on there "Due Date" please remember that in order to be paid on time, they have to have that payment in their hands and posted to your account on or before that date. Mailing it on or before that date doesn't cut it. I work for a phone company and you wouldn't belive how many people think that once it's dropped in the mailbox, it's paid.

So far, Tribute has worked out for me just fine. I was shocked to find out that I was approved because I know my credit isn't great. I'm grateful to these people. I have a second chance to do something good for my credit score.
