Complaint Review: Trick or Treat Studios

Trick or Treat Studios Didn't recieve mask and denied refund.

Not knowing anything about this company, I jumped on the hype bandwagon to preorder a Halloween 2018 Michael Meyers mask back in early June with a promise they'd ship in September. I started seeing the mask being reviewed by individuals on YouTube in August, which I found a little odd. I didn't think too much of it, I thought maybe they dI'd some cross promotion thing with Trick or Treat studios. Then I really started seeing people posting pictures with their mask on the company website, as they had bought them from their local Halloween store! A concerned customer commented asking what was the point of pre-ordering if you could just go to the store today and buy one.

Whoever runs their Facebook page posted a very rude response to this guy. I replied expressing how rude their respose was to a legitimate question. THEY BANNED ME FROM THE PAGE. Feeling no desire to do business with them anymore I researched their refund policy, and of course that's non-existent (which doesn't surprise md considering how they treat people). I filed a dispute with PayPal and I obviously has to escalate to claims since they replied with a fake apology then the "no refunds" shpeel. When I pay for a product I expect a product. And customers should have the right to refuse business with someone if they still hadn't received what they purchased. Trick or Treat, indeed.
