I'm a student, attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, with a very minimal income. Upon receiving this reward in the mail, I was so excited. I checked with members of my dorm room to see if the check was real. Everything about it seemed legitimate. I was going crazy with only one thing in mind. I wanted to help my parents pay for a few years of my college because I know they are already struggling. I read the letter over and over again. It said I was entered in some sort of ballot system was awarded $47,000. They sent a check for $3,985.00 payable to me in order to facilitate the "payment of international taxes and insurance fees." I was going wild. I didn't even know what to do. I wanted to get on my bike right away and ride all the way to my bank. After I talked to some financial professors in my school of business, I found that this was a complete fraud. And now I'm here hoping that these scam artists will be stopped.

As President of TriDelta Financial Partners, I am deeply frustrated and angered by the thieves who are running this scam.

They have stolen our company name and logo and used it to help support their illegal activities.

My only reason for writing this note is to assure those who have received the letter that we are doing our best to bring the full extent of the law on the perpetrators of this fraud.

I would also like to assure you that TriDelta Financial Partners is a legitimate company based in Canada, that is simply trying to do good business for our clients. We are in no way behind these letters, and are in fact victims. The phone numbers listed on the letters are connected to the criminals and are not connected to our firm.

Yours truly,

Ted Rechtshaffen
