Trimfit Cable-Knit wrong sizes little quality ripoff Thomasville North Carolina
About a decade ago, I could get size 12-14 Trimfit tights which actually FIT me, and at a decent price, too. They also had sensible colors, such as charcoal WITH reinforced toe AND heel.
Just the other day, I was reduced to buying a color I don't really care for (brown) only to discover, upon arriving home, that their size 10-14 cable-knit tights (which appear to be such good quality inside the pack) are actually about HALF THE SIZE AND NARROWER THAN the charcoal tights I could get a decade ago. THIS IS NO EXAGGERATION, BECAUSE I HAVE A PAIR FROM THE OLD DAYS, AND PLACED THEM SIDE BY SIDE TO COMPARE THEM. Furthermore, ONLY the toes were reinforced (not the heels).
Retail price quoted on pack: $8.75. It's supposed to fit up to 64" 110 lb. I'm only 60" and I could barely get them on. SHAME ON YOU, TRIMFIT! YOU'RE APTLY NAMED - BECAUSE YOU KEEP TRIMMING YOUR QUALITY MORE AND MORE BY THE DECADE (while doubling your prices)!
Manufacturers used to give customers quality for the buck. Now they take as much buck as they can get for as little quality as they dare provide.
Trimfit touts their toe-weave as "comfort toe". PROPAGANDA!! They USED TO PROVIDE "comfort toe AND COMFORT HEEL" (WITHOUT the propaganda).
Do skimpy-tights manufacturers really think they can fool ALL the people ALL the time? They seem to forget - there are still many of us left from the "genuine" old days!
