Triple L Tranportation was brokered to transport my 2 year old car from california to florida. The driver contacted me the afternoon of August 10th 2004 that the car would be picked up in the morning. They came and picked up the car on 8/11/04. I was advised several times during the conversation that he will only accept cash payment (that should have been a clue that this is not a good company). When he arrived I gave him $655.00 cash payment for delivery. I received a call from a woman from the company advising me that my car was totaled the same day it was picked up. I really thought she was pulling my leg and could not believe what I heared. I asked why was I not contacted when this happened and was informed that they decided not to. Since that is my property I should have been contacted immediately. I went through so many hurdles with this company that I started to have difficulties with them and contacted my insurance company and they intervene and took care of the issue pertaining to the car. They could not resolve the issue with the delivery fee. Despite numerous attempts to speak to someone at triple l transportation to resolve the refund, I had to finally file a complain with BBB which they responded and advised that they will issue refund of $655.00 and that I had threatened them and that I was being impatient. I never threatened them, they never responded to any of my left messages and I did leave a message that it I did not hear from them that I will be filing a complaint with BBB and the attorney state general and other agencies. They took that as a threat. They never sent the money. BBB contacted the company again in July 2006 and they never responded. It is now October 2006 and I am still waiting on my money. I guess I am still being impatient. It is a shame that companies like this deals with the general public. They have no customer service skills and I want resolution. I do believe that I have rights and it is not fair or right for them to keep my money in their pockets. I feel like have been scammed and taken advantage off. It is quite obvious this company feels that they are above it all and they can treat consumers how ever they want to. I will not stop until they give me a United States Postal money order of $655.00 - they conduct unscrupulous business practices and I do not want anyone else to go through what I have gone through with them. All I am asking for is my money back. They did not deliver on the service then they know they do not have any rights to keep my money.
