This incident started when I first register for Tripod Plus Account. I was prompted and was told that the account that I registered for 'ketumbar' member name was already taken (curiously this happens only after I have submitted my credit card infomation).

I then chose a new member name: 'limaunipis'.

The next thing I knew, I was told that I am going to be billed for both 'ketumbar' and 'limaunipis'.

Okay, I thought, fine. Probably I can cancel the account and hope for a refund.

The problem is, Tripod is making it almost impossible for me to cancel my account.

They have made it in such a way that no matter how much I'll try, my the account that I want to delete: 'ketumbar', will be reactivated again in the process of cancelling the account.

Better still, when I want to downgrade the account, I will be directed to a website that'll ask me to upgrade my account!

This is a rip off! They are billing me for something that I do not intend to use and they are making it impossible for me to even cancel the account and get my refund.

Please help.
