Tripp-Lite Mfg. ripoff, they don't stand behind their Guarantee deceptive company Chicago Illinois
Last spring, we had a power surge, that damaged one computer and much of our internet connection devices. We filed a claim, but never received compensation for our loss. Tripp-Lite claims it was not due to their equipment failing.
The Internet Office UPS was connected to the wall plug. Into this we had the computer and the phone lines connected. The surge went thru the Internet Office UPS and destroyed the computer, the modem and the Lynksys router.
We were so sure of this product protecting our equipment that we had two of the Internet Office UPS, one for each of our computers.
On the packaging of the Tripp-Lite Internet Office UPS, it states "Protect Against Lightning and Surges...Guaranteed!" It also states "$25,000 ULTIMATE Lifetime Insurance". We are not looking for $25,000, just the cost of the computer and equipment that we had to replace.
Tripp-Lite does not stand behind their products. It is a rip off company.
