Triprewards Closed account without notice they kept all unused points Internet

For several years I traveled and stayed at motels that rewarded me with points that could be redeemed for free rooms. I had a large total of points that would equal several free nights. Here is where the problem is I became sick and was in the VA hospital off and on for over a year, not using my account.

Then with no notice to me my account was closed and they kept all unused points. I was in the process of making a reservation because on 8/20/07 I received an email from them and I quote David Beeson, as of 8/7/2007, you have 41,631 points. That's enough to redeem for a free night stay at a Wyndham resort in Mexico! Yes I do have the original email if needed. I was informed that the account was closed and if I wanted to reopen it I had to write a letter to their corp. office and ask which I did and they never even had the courtesy to reply to my letter.
