Tristar Products ripoff and false advertising consumer fraud ripoff Wallingford Connecticut
We ordered the pasta pot express from the commercial on TV about the 2nd week of December. We ordered the big pot, the small pot and with them both came a chopper and a cook book, advertised for free. All for $19.99. Come February, I called the number on the TV to find out the customer service number, because nothing had shown up. I called, they said it shipped, but they resent the pots to my house, so they said.
Finally in April, I received the big pasta pot, in a box stating that it was 1 box of 2. I waited a week or so, still no 2nd box with the remaining merchandise. I called customer service again. They told me that everything was shipped. But they would again put an order out for the pasta POT. I told them that I received the big pot but not the 2nd box. They told me I didnt pay for the other merchandise, it was an additional $9.99 for the smaller pot and the chopper. WRONG........false advertising. Looks like I paid $25 for a large pasta pot, and the handle is already broken. Its all a bunch of crap.
