Tristar Products ripoff deceptive company Wallingford Connecticut
I ordered one of the Pasta Pots advertised on TV, it included a large pot, a smaller one, cheese grater, and something else, it was $14.95 plus s&h for a total of $22.94. It took two months to finally receive the large pot, it was defective.
I called them to let them know about it and to tell them I had not received the rest of the items. I was then told that these other items needed an additonal $9.95 for s&h before they could be sent to me. The lady, Sue, told me that that was not true, "that's telemarketers for you." So my order for what I thought I was getting was a ripoff as far as I was concerned.
Their product is just a cheap enameled pot with holes on it. It is not worth the $14.95 plus s&h. They supposedly will send me an address label to replace my defective pot. This will probably take another two months.

Are you sure you want another pot and not just your money back; because I also received TWO defective pots. As far as I am concerned, they are all defective, and they should give us our money back; My pot's lid permantly locked and could not be removed. I was forced to throw mine away, because the post office refused to send it back for me with the rotten spagetti on the bottem of the pan. I am fighting to get my money back. I had to throw mine away.
