Complaint Review: Tristar Products/TVInventions

Tristar Products Aka TVInventions Ordered via internet, charge to my credit card different than what I was told; order was changed Wallingford Connecticut .....

I made the horrible mistake of ordering three products from the tvinventions website and I dread I may not see my money back. First, I ordered a knife set for 39.95. A week after the order I decided to check on the status of the order. The amount listed in the customer service screen on the website had become 72.89 for the same set of knives. A week after this, the amount was up to 109.80. It gets better.

My order was processed for three sets of knives and my credt card charge was 104.80. It's several weeks later and the same customer service screen still lists the cost at 109.80, even though the credit transaction has long since past. My second order was for a juicer. The cost stated to me by the same customer service screen was 121.93 and has stayed this amount the whole time. However, my credit card was billed for 97.93.

Needless to say, I flatly refused both of these items and had the post office send them back as refused. On the same customer service screen also listed my third order which turned out fine. That screen gave me several different customer service numbers to call for questions--three different numbers, one of them long-distance. But no matter which number I called, I've had great difficulty getting through.

In Summary, I Will NEVER order another product again from this website and I would recommend anyone considering an order to run as far away as they can away from this website. It is downright horrible; as it is, my first two orders I mentioned above were altered without my knowledge. I had no option in the website to change or cancel my order. When I ordered I was stuck with it. Either something is drastically wrong with the tvinventions website, or it's a major scam.
