Tropic Shoes (305)571-5500 This company is a complete scam. They never have sizes or styles they charge you for, then they slow to return your funds. Miami, Florida
Tropic Shoes' owner, Marty "Moti" Levin is a crook in my opinion. I purchased numerous cases or shoes from this company. They didn't have most of the styles I ordered, and one of the workers there informed me that my order had to come from another vendor. They were incredible slow about contacting the shipping company to pick up my order, and I knew they were using my money to purchase my order, so I canceled my order.
Upon during so the owner, Marty Levin became rude and verbally abusive. I asked him to just reverse the charges on my credit card and he said he would, and that I should never do business with his company ever again. He returned my money in 3 sporadic installments.
This 16 day ordeal was the worst interaction with a business that I ever encountered. They were unprofessional and underhanded.

We know Troic Shoes and Mr. Marty for more than 8 years; during this time he has shown total and absolut respect for his customers. In business he proved us to be a reliable company where customer is always first.
We totally disagreed with the person filing this report!

Moti is one of the good guys! The guy that will bring in the goods from all over and give it to you for bottom dollar. He wants you in there and he wants you to sell, make money and come back for more.
You have to work with people if you want to wholesale. And what ever is hot moves fast. Keep your order in there and Moti will make it better than what you wanted, if not on this one then he is watching your back for the next one. I have bought all my items for the past 5 years and have never felt cheated. But instead I always walked away with a big grin, a high five and saying oh yeah, time to make some money.

In reference to report 717314, the customer that wrote this post, who will remain nameless cancelled his order because the company he wanted to use for shipping did not pick up as they promised after my initial contact with them. The order was received on a Tuesday afternoon and the shipping company was called after the order was processed for pick up. Wednesday, the merchandise was not picked up and the customer cancelled the order and blamed us for not calling the trucking company in a timely fashion and that he would not have his merchandise by Friday.
We explained that the trucking company he chose to use would pick up the shoes but they would not leave Miami until Saturday. We understand the customer being upset, but we do not control trucking companies. The customers money was refunded in full within six days of their cancellation, not sixteen as they claim. An email was send to our customer extending our apologies for any inconvenience encountered. The last thing I expected was to be called a "crook". We have been in business for 42 years and our reputation for customer service throughout the 42 years speaks for itself.
