Complaint Review: Tropical Breeze Boating Center

Ralph Smith portrays himself as a boat dealer. What he does is lure you in, take your money and then never delivers on the required registration and title needed for you to legally license the boat. Tropical Breeze Boating Center is a cheap vinyl sign in Sanford, FL and the center is a cluttered warehouse of boat repairs and parts. Still I got suckered in.

If he answers your call "the paperwork will be done on Friday", not. This goes on for 2 months. After that he doesn't answer your calls anymore.

My sense is he takes a boat on consignment, sells it and keeps the money never telling the owner he sold it. So when you go to register the boat, no title, no registration. You are stuck in limbo.

This will take me a year and more money to sort out and meanwhile Ralph Smith and his gang continue to operate. Do you think he paid the state the tax on the sale of the boat? Come on State of Florida, catch up to this guy now.
