Complaint Review: Tropical Breeze Boating Center

On March 9,2009 we bought as advertised on the internet a 2000 Sea Fox. Ralph Smith at Tropical Breeze told us everything worked on the boat. He delivered a Legacy Sea Era not Sea Fox, driver was to have the titles with, he did not and a year later we still do not have the titles. Ralph wrote on bill of sale Sea Fox and that both engines serviced, the day we got the boat we put it in the water and had to be towed as all 8 carbs were gummed up. The speedometer, jack plates, lights on both boat and trailer,gas gauge and both motors did not work. We have filed complaints with both Oklahoma and Florida BBB and Attorney Generals offices and Ralph Smith refuses to answer any of them. I am afraid that we bought a stolen boat and can not get any help from anyone, even the news stations from Florida. According to the Attny General in Florida this company has a bad reputation for doing this yet they let them stay in business! We paid $9750.00 for a useless boat that we can not do anything with because there are no titles!
