Complaint Review: Tropical Carwash

Tropical Carwash Ruined our brand new vehicle and would not take any accountability Merritt Island Florida

Took our brand new vehicle that we had purchased 5 days earlier for its first wash at TROPICAL CARWASH in South Merritt Island off Courtenay Parkway. As soon as we got home, I immediately noticed some serious deep swirl marks/scratches on the hood of our expensive new SUV which, as you would expect from a 5 day old vehicle, was flawless before the car wash. My fiancé immediately returned to show the owner of this establishment what they had done. He proceeded to get extremely defensive, and deny all accountability. He then decided it was necessary to scream in her face, where she was forced to call 911 because of how insane and irrational this OWNER was behaving. He even had the nerve to be snappy and rude with the Brevard County Sherriffs Deputy that arrived on the scene within minutes. The officer filled out a report and opened a case. He instructed us to contact our insurance company with this case number, who will then be in contact with this terrible business and their insurance company (if they even have any)... I plan to pursue this insane mishap until justice is served, and this god awful excuse of a business owner gets what he deserves. What ever happened to standing behind your product or service? I guess those days are over, at least in this very unprofessional man's eyes. Morale of the story... Do not get yourself into a long drawn out legal matter that I now have to deal with... Just for wanting a clean car. DO NOT TAKE ANY VEHICLE HERE. This "Wilson", the owner, is the worst kind of person I've ever come across, and is a disgrace to all the hardworking and honest small business owners out there. Please share this with all friends and family who take pride in their vehicles.

 I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but not match has come of it yet. I requested the business provide footage of their surveillance cameras in order to disprove his claim that his car car wash could not have scratched up my vehicle. He has responded with.. "My cameras were unoperational that day"... Hopefully this will red flag BBB that he is full of you know what. Unfortunate situation... Sorry to hear about yours. :(

Good thing we have Freedom of Speech here in the States. Besides the fact, the obsurdities observed by the police officer and stated in the report, as well as the level of unprofessionalism demonstrated by this individual makes anything I have stated look like a love letter... I am not one to bash, and would gladly give the shirt off my back to anybody in need, but when a grown man screams at a young woman within inches of her face over a matter he should be bending over backwards to fix... I'm sorry but I have to say something. Again, his actions are in the police report. I appreciate you taking the time to reply to my story.

 You HAD a good solid case until YOU defamed this person on a media outlet. From your own post. This "Wilson", the owner, is the worst kind of person I've ever come across, and is a disgrace to all the hardworking and honest small business owners out there. Please share this with all friends and family who take pride in their vehicles. With what you wrote right there YOU have defamed this business AND have instructed others to cause damage to said business with what YOU have posted. NOW you have an issue. Instead of a clear cut case where HIS equipment messed up YOUR vehicle, HE gets to enter into evidence THIS post! As part of his counter claim against YOU. YOU will claim his car wash damaged the paint on YOUR new vehicle, and HE will claim that the damage was PRE EXISTING and YOU then went on a ONLINE campaign to destroy his business. YOU have NOW made this an even harder case to win in your favor!
