I purchased a Chevrolet Express Van 2008 as a certified used van from Tropical Chevrolet at 8880 Biscayne Blvd.; Miami, Fl. 33138-3343 Phone 1-866-791-4531, back in January. They told me the van was GM certified. According to their web site, the car had gone through a 177 point, bumper to bumper inspection by GM trained technicians. Each inspection is required to adhere to strict, factory-set standards to ensure that every vehicle's engine, chassis and body is in excellent condition, and there is nothing wrong with it. The van was guaranteed in excellent running order. Not only that, the van came with a back-up guarantee. There was a 12 month, or 12,000 mile warranty plus a limitted additional 100,000 mile 5 year Powertrain warranty.

After 2 days I knew there was something wrong with the vehicle. The gear shift didn't shift properly and the brakes didn't work right. I took the van back to the shop. I talked to the man on duty. He admitted that the transmission wasn't working properly, but he told me the man who fixes transmissions would be away for a month or two. Then I went to speak with the manager, Mark Diaz. Mr. Diaz laughed at me and made fun of me in front of other customers. Then I tried calling the owner, Mr. Ian Wildstein. He never returned my calls. I have been told it would cost $5,000 to fix the van. I bought the van believing in their guarantee, but I found they are a bunch of big liars.
