When the gentleman came to our house and offered the sola panel he made it look so good this is the example he used, if you paying $160 of electricity you will pay only $90 and you will pay us $50 and still have money in your packet that you can save to go on vacation. Also you will be getting $3500 back on taxes, and in the winter you will be paying only dollars 60, none of tha has happened.

They installed a water heater that is a danger because I have has guess in the house that hav e burned themselves. There has been no saving in the electric bill. I do not know how a finance company can do business with them knowing that they are ripping people off. Now I am in a debt of almost $12000 for one panel, I will like for them to come and take their panel and put my ceiling back and my normal water heater.

The gentleman was very aggresive, I do not explain how we were approved for a loan when our credit if not good. I called the lender and told them to have Tropical solar come get their panel but instead they gave them the money. The getleman also offered me $500.00 for every customer I send him, I am so happy I did not get any of my family members of griend involved in ths kind of rif off. If anybody else has been riped off like we have it will be good if together we do something, it is nbot fair to have companies do that kind of scam to working citizens. Will appreciate any help I can get.

Be very careful....check to see if they put a lien on your home

In my experience those solar panel people that come door to door are not only extremely expensive, but the paperwork you sign puts a lien on your home that remains until the entire balance is paid off. Giving back the solar panel doesn't remove the lien. Only a lien release will remove the lien and the finance co won't issue a lien release without payment in full. Check your paperwork.

PS I'm not a solar panel vendor at all. I'm a Realtor and see these liens on title when the seller is ready to close and they pop up as a surprise.
