WARNING-Troy Johnson of Allure Aesthetic, Inc. - Do Not purchase a laser - it might be a nightmare like mine. Miguel Delgado,MD-Cosmetic and Plastic Surgeon,San Francisco.

Disaster-I am a Plastic surgeon in San Francisco and purchased a Palomar Icon laser ($55,000) from Troy Johnson the CEO of Allure Aesthetics. After 5 weeks the wrong laser came, and two major laser heads missing. My attorney had to convince him it was the wrong serial number. After $2,000 in legal fees I received the laser missing one of the hand pieces. I asked him over 20 times who is his laser engineer or company to send the laser to get it checked out. The contract clearly stated the laser and all hand pieices in working order with a 30 warranty.  He never gave me a referral to a laser repair service, the one he perferred.  In frustration, I found a laser company who was highly rated on Dot Med called Sentinel.  The laser was sent to Utah at my expense.  He did a comprehensive evaluation and determined that the laser was never serviced and two heads were in disrepair and needed to be serviced.  The bill came to $13,000 plus shipping.  This is well within my 30 day warranty which states that the laser will be in good working order. He wanted me to send the laser for a second opinion to Florida after I had a signed contract for the repair.  He has refused to pay the repair bills or laser training that he promised.

I gave him adequate time to deal with this issue as a good honest businessman, would do.   He has wasted much of my time and put my laser program in slow motion.  He dropped shipped  the laser site un-seen, with no evaluation of the laser. Our contract states the laser will be in good working order and it was not.  The contract states that the repairs will be done if identified with within the warranty period.  As of to day, it is over 3 months since I purchased the laser.  The repairs cost over $13,000 plus shipping, a legal bill of $2,000 and a laser training he is to pay for.

Troy Johnson is the most dishonest person I have every worked with and the worse business practice I have ever seen. He does not care about the customer but just getting your money and putting you through a maze. A true rip-off artist. He has lied to me many times and thinks nothing of it.  He has no integrity or self respect for himself or his business. I blame myself partially because there are many warnings as to his business practice on the internet. I purchased my laser through DotMed and it is nothing they can do, which is sad.  I wired the money in full so I could not reverse the charges.  There are many reputable second hand laser companies out there. Avoid him at all cost.

I have been geting calls from around the USA and Canada telling me how they have been 'Ripped OFF" by Troy Johnson of Allure Asthetics.  The last one was a plastic surgeon collegue of mine in San Francisco. They all ask for my advise as to how to deal with this internet crook. He has not attempted to resolve my issue over the past two years.  Their are many laser companies out there, so if you value your money and time, STAY AWAY FROM TROY JOHNSON AND ALLURE ASTHETICS.
