This is a complete joke. "amazon" took $472.82 out of my checking account. I have never written a check to amazon or given them my checking account information. My amazon account is tied to a credit card. My bank refunded all of these fraudulent charges and i had to close my checking account and opened a new one with the same bank because 6 different ach charges came through my checking account. So a week later i received a collection notice in the mail from trs recovery saying i owed $472.82.

Trs recovery said it was amazon and gave me 6 different amazon transaction id's along with dates and dollar amounts and 2 phone numbers that were associated with amazon. The first number trs gave me was 713-331-7600 says it's no longer in service. The 2nd # 206-765-1897 i get a voice mail saying max barton. To me neither of these are an amazon phone number. Shouldn't a collection agency trs be double checking things before sending somebody to collections?

I called amazon customer service 888-280-4331 and they were absolutely no help what-so-ever. I even asked to speak with their billing or collections department and was told they don't have a billing department. How can amazon not have a billing department? This is such a complete joke. I am definitely fighting all of this. It's total and complete fraud and trs is allowing identity theft and fraud and so is amazon.
