Complaint Review: Trudy Beard C.P.A.

recently put my resume on CareerBuilder and got a response from Trudy Beard, CPA, I was living in Florida then. She called me and ask me to take a stupid personality Test, Which I did, I still have copies, Then she called and said she was flying me up for an interview, which she did and hired me at that time with a BIG PROMISE of a great opportunity. I took it like an idiot.

I put my house in Fla on the market, $225,000 not to shabby, moved my daughter (who quit her 10 year job at a beautiful resort on the beach) and bought another house her in Missouri, all on the premise that I had a job.

Trudy started bragging about stealing your clients, taking Pat Smith away from you and how you hated her, you seem to be the object of her affection! Her employees were aware of you from the beginning, even her add on Careerbuilder was directed at you.

She wanted me to certify her as a Quickbooks Proadvisor, attend tax classes for her, drive all over Kansas, simply because she didn't have time. after 5 weeks she fired me, said I wasn't worth my pay, how insulting, Yes I am bitter, I now have no income, 2 house payments and she will not pay the the money she owes me now. Not very professional is it.

I am getting calls from CPA's in Florida to come back to work and I do have excellant references no matter what she thinks. I think she overextended herself financially, and I am suffering over it. Problem is I am broke and ca't get back to Florida.

I have contacted an attorney, and don't care what it costs, this person has to be stopped.
