Very dishonest people, they fear a lot... Most likely they’re scamming people from Africa. They do it for the sake of earning money illegitimately, putting food on the table and trying to survive, helping their children and parents, friends... This is no good. They would make stupid excuses even to a point asking for passport and proof of residence.
