Complaint Review: Tucson Equestrian Center

I have been involved with TEC over the years.  I bought several horses from Linda.  The horses were over priced and misreprsented. She sold us a horse with lameness problems confirmed by our vet. Linda denied the lameness. Last year, Linda asked me to write a "Good review or rebuttle" becuase of a negative post about TEC. ( did this before we too were taken) I did so along with several of her friends.  A year later I realize how decieved I had been.  Linda embellishes stories to the point of it being funny to believe them.  My wife and I have spent a lot of money at TEC.  Over time, we reilized how the stories did not add up.  Linda represented a person who lived on her property in the winter months as "honest" and "kind".  We took her at her word and bought a horse from this man based on Linda's gleaming recommendation.  This person turned out to be a liar and a thief.  Linda covered for him and denied any knowledge of the deal. We later learned that she knew about it and possibly benefited from it financially.  We can never get back the money we lost dealing with her and her dishonest friends, but, I encourage anyone doing business with TEC to be very careful.  Fact check everything.
