I went to location for front end alignment. While standing at the counter and within earshot I heard another employee say to a customer you have a bad oil leak and the customer said he is not aware of such a problem and then they went outside to the shop. I did not think much of it until about an hour later when I received a phone call from the shop stating I had a bad oil leak. Now keep in mind I take my car to the oil change places on a regular basis and also park on a concrete driveway and have never noticed any leaks. I said I don't understand how this is possible but I don't have any extra money to have fixed right now. I picked up my car and lo and behold the next morning there is a large oil puddle underneath my car.

I know this could be a coincidence but I find this very unusual that I have never been told by any of the oil change places about any leaks or noticed any leaks on my driveway. This combined with the conversation I heard at the counter makes me suspicsious. I would not go back again.

Deliberate sabotage by Tuffy

After having work done at Tuffy's a constant problem haunted me for over a year. I could start my car if I jumped it.....but it couldn't hold a charge. Huffy's replaced a battery for me, and that is when my problems began to escalate. When I told them about what was going on, they then told me the alternator was bad. However, a personal friend who works on cars didn't buy it. We did some troubleshooting and thought the problem went away until this winter came. The cold weather was where it showed up consistently. It pretty much disappeared in the warm weather. This winter, it had taken a toll....I couldn't get the car to hold its charge over night at all. We did more troubleshooting, and we decided to tyr replacing the alternator. Oops...the problem still existed. We took it to a dealer who insisted it was both the battery and the alternator, after we had test results of BOTh testing good. SO, we took the car home and replaced the alternator and the battery. The problem still existed. AT this point we took it to a professional electrical shop where they revealed that the wires had been purposely reversed on the cable that connects directly to the alternator.

I have spent over $600 and now I am a paycheck behind.......The only place my car had been was Tuffy's. Is there no legal recourse against scumbags like this? I am not in Florida.

Now, my Christmas will be like no other.
