I visited the website turbojam.com after watching an infomercial. During checkout, I found myself on beachbody.com. I ordered the product advertised on the infomercial and confirmed that order. I was then bombared with additional "add-ons." When I accidentaly clicked an add-on instead of "no thanks", the product was immediately purchased without an opportunity to confirm. I called and emailed immediately to remove this item from my order. The customer representative (CR) told me that it could not be done because the order had already been processed. I found this hard to believe. The CR then told me that I could return the add-on at my own expense for a refund, less shipping cost. I was ticked-off, but resolved to do it their way.

Then a week later, I got an email saying my order was delayed due to heavy volumn (they are making a lot of money off those infomercials). So, I called and emailed again, this time requesting that my order be cancelled, since they had not shipped the order as advertised in the informercial. Again, I was told I could not cancel the order because it had been processed. From my perspective, this is impossible. Every other company on the Internet allows a cancellation prior to shipment, so I got very suspicious and then found all the other complaints online. Since the charge had not shown up on my bank card, I cancelled my bank card to prevent this company from charging my account every month for the next 3 months. My bank said that was the only way I could prevent them charging my account. Being a responsible person, I again, wrote to customer service and told them I had cancelled payment on my end and encourged them to find a way to cancel the order. I also told them that if the order arrives, I plan to return it unopened and refused at their expense.

In the meantime, I'm inconvienenced by not having a bank card for 5-10 days while my bank issues a new one. Hopefully, I have avoided any long-term issues with this company. I would discourage anyone from ordering either online or by phone from this company.

I'm sorry you had problems with Beachbody. I have similar experiences with other infomercials. But, Beachbody and Proactive were the two infomercials that solidified my confidence in some infomercials.

When I ordered Turbo Jam, I was 'very' careful on what I chose, and fortunately, chose all the desired selections, avoiding anything I didn't want to order. So fortunately, my experience was more positive.

I've lost weight and have only experienced good customer service since 2004. But, you never know.

I wish you well in the future.
