I hired Turning Tables Woodcraft (hereafter TTW) to build a bench seat for a business I own. After sending detailed drawings to Roger of TTW he quoted $400 for the bench. I fell for his trick of being a veteran owned business that was supporting other veterans in the Phoenix area. Roger was quick to cash the $400 but then never followed through on building the bench. Not only did Roger take money but also my time. I spent many hours creating a detailed drawing on CAD software. I provided the detailed drawing from which Roger was able to provide a quote for the stock materials to build the bench seat.

I have reached out to TTW and Roger several times through email and phone calls on the status of the project. However, Roger has failed to follow through on any type of return contact with me. Unfortunately, I probably will never see the $400 dollars. It sounds like other people have been taken advantage of by Roger Cornwell and for great amounts of money.

What is most deplorable is that Roger used military veteran status as his biggest selling point for being a legitimate business. His aim was to generate wood working jobs to hire other veterans and grow TTW as a legitimate business. He wanted to hire veterans that were not able to fit into society or that had been in and out of work and teach them woodworking. Being a fellow veteran I felt giving him business was the right thing to do. Boy was I wrong! He took advantage of us, plain and simple. But then again I am also a fool for sending a stranger money. Be careful, Roger was very convincing on the phone during the initial contact I made with Roger. The $400 was for buying the wood stock. He had promised a May 2016 install of the bench. When I reached out to him in May he responded that he was behind but would look to complete the bench seat in June. That was the last I heard from Roger of TTW.

Stay away from Roger and TTW and do not even think about giving him money!
